Driver-hours recording without an office-style screen

Tacho Mate is a focused driver-hours companion for UK HGV drivers. It is designed around the states a driver needs to record during the working day: driving, other work, periods of availability, breaks and rest. The aim is to make the current state, elapsed time and recorded history easy to understand on a phone without turning the driver view into a full transport-office dashboard.

Warnings based on the activity you record

The app can use the recorded activity history to show clear hours guidance and next-action warnings. That makes the record useful while the shift is happening, rather than only after the day has finished. The underlying record also gives the driver a history of the activity entered in Tacho Mate so earlier states can be reviewed rather than disappearing behind the current timer.

Separate from Rivetway Transport

Standalone Tacho Mate is kept separate from the Rivetway Transport driver app. Rivetway Transport has its own embedded driver-hours workflow for operators using the wider fleet platform, while this public Tacho Mate page introduces the standalone driver product. The private Tacho Mate app remains behind its own access route.

What Tacho Mate does not replace

Tacho Mate is guidance and record-keeping software. It does not replace a statutory tachograph, a driver card, official downloaded tachograph data, the operator's legal responsibilities or professional compliance judgement. Drivers and operators remain responsible for following the applicable drivers' hours and tachograph rules and for using the required legal recording equipment.
